Cross, Blessings and Curses

Galatians 3:13-14

Shalom congregation at City Blessing who love the Lord Jesus , soon we will commemorate the week suffering God . I invite the entire congregation of the Lord in the City Blessing to return ponder and appreciate the meaning of the Lord 's sufferings week .

The cross , the curse and blessing are three things that do not integral . Through the cross of Christ , all forms of the curse of sin has on Disable . Christ has redeemed us from the bear and all of the curse of sin . Through the cross of Christ , the curse that has been paid for and replaced a blessing to us .

The cross is the most severe form of punishment and contemptible . The cross is also a death sentence handed down to the hardened criminals . The Bible says that " all forms of sin and evil we " had inflicted upon him . All the pain and suffering borne him up for us and by his wounds or his stripes we are healed . ( 1 Peter 2:24 )

Reflect on what is noted by the word of God , " Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us: for it is written : " Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree ! " Jesus Christ has made it so that in him thanks Abraham might come to the Gentiles , so that by faith we receive the promised Spirit " ( Galatians 3:13-14 )

Thanks to the blessing of Abraham is the righteousness of Christ which bestowed upon us freely through faith in Him ( see Romans 4:11 ) . It is a spiritual blessing that saved us and made ​​us His children . Other spiritual blessing we receive is the gift of the Holy Spirit ( Galatians 3:14) . Which form the seal of the Holy Spirit guarantees our salvation in Christ ( see Ephesians 1:13-14 ) .

In addition to spiritual blessings , we are also entitled to inherit such temporal blessings that have been received by Abraham . Thanks ancestry , health , adequacy and even in natural abundance by Abraham we deserve because of the cross of Christ has changed the curse into a blessing . Living in the curse is to live far from the blessing of God , while living in the blessing means grace and providence of God .

May we all be able to interpret and experience all that God promised Abraham the father of both spiritual and physical blessings blessing because we are the children of Abraham , because we live by faith . And because we are the children of Abraham we shall inherit the blessings of Abraham in Christ . How did it happen ? The Bible asserts that everything that can happen because Christ died to redeem us from the curse of the law of sin ! ! ! .
