Experiencing the Power of the Resurrection of Christ

Matthew 28: 1-10

The resurrection of Christ from the dead to prove at least three things: 

• That all the prophecies of God's word and Christ's words are true. Therefore, we must hold fast and trust entirely to the word of God. 
• That Jesus is truly the Son of God and Savior of the world. No one in the world like our Lord Jesus Christ. He died, and rose on the third day. All the leaders and founders of religions in this world to die and no one rose and ascended into heaven like Jesus. Because it is only Jesus who deserve to be the savior of this world. 
• Proving that our Lord Jesus Christ is more powerful than death. In this life, there is no greater power than the power of death (mortality), but Jesus has defeated the power of death, He rose from the dead and lives forever.

As believers we should not just only know that the Lord Jesus has risen, but we also experience the power of the resurrection. How do we experience the power of His resurrection? 

1. WE MUST BELIEVE - MARK 16:9-14 

We have to believe not only we believe that the Lord Jesus has risen from the dead, but also have to believe that the power of his resurrection can work within us is able to change our lives. 

Believing is one thing that is absolutely necessary before anything else could happen in our lives. The great inventors in the world of science could create something extraordinary because it believed that it could be created, while the pessimist could say was "not possible". So we have to believe first! We believe is the main capital to see the power of his resurrection work significantly change our lives. 

2  GOD NEED OUR COOPERATION  - Ephesians 5:14 

That power will not work optimally in us if we just stay quiet. God wants us to be people who are active, creative and proactive. The Bible says "get up!" Means we have to get up. 

There are many things that awaken within us that the power of Christ's resurrection actually work up in ourselves and change our lives. What should be resurrected in us? 

• Awaken your spiritual life and faith -> Pray, worship, faith serving in earnest. 
• Stir up your mental and spirit -> do not give up easily and has a great fighting spirit. 
• Awaken your talents and skills -> continue to learn and try and improve. 
• Awaken your effort and hard work -> be diligent and personally want to try. 

The result is our life really changed. Miracles will happen and the blessings will flow abundantly in our lives!. 

May the Holy Spirit will help us all, Amen!!!
