Faithfulness : The Secret To Keep Getting Abundant Blessing

Let's look at this story in Luke 17:11-19 , about ten lepers who were healed by Jesus : " In his journey to Yelusalem Jesus passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee . Upon entering a village, ten lepers met him .

They stood at a distance and shouted : " Jesus , Master , have mercy on us ! " Then he looked at them and said : "Go , show yourselves to the priests . " And while they went , they were cleansed . One of them , when he saw he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice , and fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him . The man was a Samaritan .

Then Jesus said, " Were there not ten cleansed ? Where are the nine? Are there not among those who returned to glory to God except this foreigner ? " Then he said to him : " Stand up and go , your faith has made you whole . "

When they experience pain - severe illness , they trooped to come to him and yelled for him to heal them . They realize that Jesus has power to cure all existing diseases , therefore they cry out with confidence and asked Jesus for the disease healed. Not only that, they also follow the commands given by Jesus . They stepped out in faith and believe that they will be healed.

Lepers are cured of their disease . And it ought they be grateful and come to Jesus to say thank you , and dedicate their lives to the glory of God . But it is not the case .

It turned out that only one out of ten people who come back to Jesus and glorify His name . Even Jesus was surprised and asked where the nine people who had been healed by him .

We can see that the other blessings God has prepared for those who will be faithful to come to him . Not only healing received by the person who returned it , but he also received other blessings are blessings of God's salvation .
