How Jesus Facing the Cross 

Matius 26:1-75

Shalom , peace & joy greetings to all in City Blessing Church of God , the Lord Jesus always accompany and bless us all , amen ! ! !

As I mentioned in last week's sermon , we are taught by the word of God to imitate the life of Jesus in the face of very heavy cross , but he got through with the victory .

Cross talk about the challenges , trials , suffering , sacrifice and even death for to glory ( Philippians 2:6-11 ) . Aside from the strength that comes from the Holy Spirit , what is really the secret of God so that God is able to bear all the weight and pain of the cross to the victory .

FIRST , THE LORD JESUS ​​STAY FOCUSED ON HIS GOALS COME TO THE WORLD

God really know when He would be crucified ( ayat1 - 2 ) , who would betray him , who would deny him , how he will be judged and how He would be crucified . He also knows how the pain to be endured , but he did not shy away from all that because he knew what he came for . God is still on His purposes .

SECOND , THE LORD JESUS ​​FOCUS ON PEOPLE WHO LOVE & SUPPORT HIM

God is more and very focused on the people who love him , even though he knows there are disciples who would betray him, Judas Iscariot . If the simple words of the Lord may be said to Judas , " Judas Please , if you would betray me , do it now ! " . He also does not pray because Judas repented the Lord that he already knows who the real Judas ( John 6:70-71 ) . As with Peter , to Peter, the Lord Jesus prayed for Peter on the demands of the devil to sift . The Lord Jesus also kept there together disciples who love Him .

THIRD , THE LORD JESUS ​​WILL FOCUS ON FATHER

In the garden of Gethsemane , Jesus prayed to the Father and ask that if possible, let the cross is not befall him . He conveyed the request , but he handed over everything to the will of the Father , " Thy will be done " . That is the power of God in the face of very heavy cross . Submission to the will of the Father be the end point of his decision .
